How to Get 54 Million People to Visit Your Home Page SiteInteresting, but annoying article. Although he assumes all disabled people are either blind or unable to move their red bottoms hands (most can use a computer the same way that anyone else does), his stats aren't what annoyed me the most. In addition I've done my best to make all the pages accessible to and readable by a screen reader and those that use the keyboard for navigation. Looks like reading War and Peace has just been pushed down on my list of things red bottom shoes to do, again. Thanks! On the other hand, that first link, sent me to a 404 page. Aren't 404s supposed to be changed to 301? (Watch. My smart alex sense of humor is going to backfire, because I can never remember if those are 301s or 303s.)Matte, Four groups of disabled people - the noticable type who work, the noticable type who can't work, the unnoticable who work and the unnoticable who can't work. Although we tend to have a higher rate for not being able to work, we all still "consume." (Not just food.) Often our disablities make us less able to shop as much as others. Until the rise in gas prices made everything else rise in cost, we used to splurge more often. I've even consider buying a caracature from your site, but it just seemed silly to have a drawing of teddy bears. They already are caracatures. Truth be known, the Internet is a semi-haven (would be a complete haven, if all disabled people could use it) for us. I don't consider Internet access as a luxury. It's a necessity. Given that it keeps us up on the latest developments with our particular cheap red bottom shoes disabilities, lets us communicate with other disabled folks, and gets us out far past where we can travel to "visit" other folks, it sure beats the price of cell phones or cable TV. Now, consider what is available to buy on the Internet. Doesn't everyone buy mostly the same things? The latest PC word for "disabled" is "differently abled." I'm not into PC too much, but I do understand the concept behind the idea. For example, most people could garden, if they wanted to. I, on the other hand, am an expert on how to garden without leaning red bottoms over as much or without lifting or dragging anything over 10 pounds. It would take more time and cost than it is worth.
