Awesome Sled… very impressed with it’s capability
This Sled amazes me every time I get it in the steep and deep …. its so responsive and easy to ride … it responds extremely well to rider input …. I am very happy with it overall … had some problems with ice accumulation below the quick drive belt … after parking it in cold conditions …short term … like for lunch… had to clean it out … or it would take out the drive belt …

Track jumps so bad! Had to spend additional money to have custom built drivers to prevent track from jumping! An to top it all off Sled had 0 miles with a recall for a new motor!!

Very touchy

This machine was in the dealer for nearly the entire riding year while there was a debate about the track and drivers. I was only concerned with the drivers. Apparently there is a recall on the track. Not so impressed with warranty on new units. When I did ride the machine it is balanced well and has plenty of power. I am impressed with the ability to lean and then the response of the machine.

My memories started when I was very young. It seems like I might have been born on a snowmobile, due to how much I love being on a sled and enjoying where they take you. The many memories I have riding snowmobiles has over run onto my kids enthusiasm of riding, as well as a new grandson who I plan on buying a sled to get him excited. My one memory while riding sleds that was bad was being involved in a n avalanche and lost a good friend.. throughout my time on the back of a sled, this sled has been the most comfortable, exciting, with a touch of WOW of the overall package, is very impressive...

I love my sled but Polaris is disappointing me.
Polaris has dropped the ball on this sled. It started right after purchasing the sled I had two recalls that needed fixed before I could even take possession of the snowmobile. Once I got to ride it I quickly noticed this model does not cool half as good as my 2019 RMK Pro 163 3" does. In deep snow my 2019 would run 95 degrees all day long. This sled doesn't even come close to that and it gets much worse from there even with the scratchers down. I now have another recall that I have had my name in to have fixed for over 2 months now and from the get go I have had a check engine light on that they don't know how to fix. Something with the exhaust valves not closing all the way. I would think when you buy a brand new machine it shouldn't overheat, have 3 recalls, and a check engine light that can't be fixed. I love Polaris sleds and have owned many over the last 30 years but this one is making rethink my purchase.

riding in the sierra's couldn't ask for more. The only thing i would ask polaris is to increase the cooling capacity. When our snow sets up here th oem scratchers don't do enough and the radiator is not big enough in my opinion.

Lost a shock on way down trail making sled go in to trees causing thousands of dollars damage and Polaris gave next to no help to fix luckily I didn’t get hurt bad

Snow check DISAPOINTMENT
It took an extra 2 months to get here and then 1 month out the first recall. It took 4 weeks to resolve. WOW! Another recall on a fuel filter problem and a 3 to4 month wait for a part Might get to ride it this Coming Winter, I hope. So for the whopping 100 miles I've rode this sled I cant really give you a review. This is not my first snow check and I will still ride as long as I can, but I will continue to support Polaris. RD

I have had so many problems I don't know where to begin first thing delivery never happen until middle on January, when I got home from the dealer I was checking things over and the throttle cable was almost broken by the flipper. back to Lethbridge to drop it off had to return home with no sled had to return the next day to pick it up. from the first ride machine sled was going into limp mode because of detonation spent the night trying to get the sled back to the truck, and back to lethbridge and a return trip after two days said nothing was wrong with it. rode it for a week and lost a cylinder had to take it back to Lethbridge for engine rebuild when i got it back still had detonation codes happening and that is where i quite riding it because it was so unreliable went back to my 2020 and finished the season. and still waiting for a fix for my 2023 boost

Good sleds with terrible corporate support
When these sleds are finally set up right they are best on the mountain. But it takes and extra 5k on top of a 20k+ to make them right. Then all the stop rides and lack of quality and timely fixes is a huge problem.

Great bigger kid youth sled.
This is a fun sled that gets around really well. My 11 year old daughter loves riding it. It is very responsive with turning and throttle response. I love how I can add to it and make it a more aggressive sled as her confidence grows. I am planning on getting another one for my younger daughter gets old enough to ride.
The only thing that I don’t like about this sled is the running boards. They are constantly getting full of ice when we are in powder. Other than that this is a great beginner sled. I was very impressed on how well it did when off the trail and in fresh snow.

Bought this for my son for his 12th christmas gift.
This sled has been excellent for him over 2 seasons (over 3000 miles) perfect for learning as it had been very confidence boosting without being limiting in deeper snow off trail.
He has been able to follow everyone everywhere on multiple group trips without any problem. Now ready to upgrade as suspension becomes the limiting factor due to it being lowered reducing travel........have the Evo upgrade kit ready to install for next season!!

Nice beginners sled
Overall I do like the sled. It fits my wife perfect. Issues that need to be changed with new models. The foot rails need cut outs and grips installed. Constant snow and ice build up on them. Also a simple ride command system would be a great option. I understand staying at a certain price point but if it was a reasonably priced option I would have bought it no questions asked.

Amazing sled
My son ride on it all winter, my wife take it few time this sled are amazing. We found new family passion, I running sled since 1995, and this Polaris was my favorite one little 550 with lot of power, so it running so great that I order Rmk 550 2022 for me!!! Great Sled to Begin to Enjoy the Sport
Bought this on a whim really as the winters are long up here especially since I stopped playing hockey and curling, to try and find something to get me outside more and stay active. Such a good time and really can't wait to use it more this winter coming up. Very fun on trail and can get anywhere I wanted to get too off trail. See it as a stepping stone towards something else but for the next year or two it will more than suffice.

Economical and fun sled
I would have bought an SKS, but since it was not offered in 2022, I picked up a 600 RMK instead.
I find it to be the perfect flatland sled for a guy who likes to ride mostly off trail, but has to ride a little bit on trail to get to the fun.
I prefer the narrower front end to the non adjustable one on the Assault 144.
The 144 track length works for me. I’ve never had any problem going anywhere I want to go in any depth of snow. I understand that guys in steep mountains want a longer track, but if you’re looking for a nimble sled in deep flat land snow, this is more than adequate.

Truly an incredible do-it-all snowmobile!
I have always leaned towards smaller CC engines in my sleds, as well as trail oriented models. I have ridden switchbacks in the past, but for limited miles. And they were not Matryx platform models. When I ordered my 2023 Boost Switchback Assault 2”, I was hesitant about how I would like the power, and if I would regret going to the IGX suspension. I did speak with a couple Polaris Ambassador friends to get an idea of the engine performance. After a full season of riding my Boost Assault, I can say that I am not disappointed whatsoever! The engine is has smooth power delivery, and when ridden at trail speeds of 30-60mph, has better fuel economy than any 800 I rode with. And the power on tap is vastly superior to any other sled.. Nothing can compare to it, especially in fresh 1-2’ snow. It pulls the same top speed in 16” snow as it does on hardpack. And the power delivery is very smooth. You can still ride a trail quickly. You just have to be aware not to squeeze the flipper to the bar for as long a period. The corners come up fast! It has good throttle response and power, not as much as an NA 850, but still enough to pop the front end up with a snap of the throttle. Then once the turbo fully spools, an instant later, the power really comes on! And it feels the same from 20-60 mph as it does 60-100! The off trail performance is vastly superior to the pro CC suspension. Much more playful, it climbs out of the snow much better. The entire sled rises up out of the snow under power. Yes it does give up some cornering compared to a 137” VR1 (my other sled), but it is not as great a difference as you might think. You have to use more body English, and know how to manipulate the throttle better. It’s a more active ride. The rear suspension also does reach its limits sooner than the pro cc, it cannot handle multiple big hits in a row as well. But I never found it lacking in all but maybe 5% of the situations I rode in, when I really wanted to push it. It is a better all around sled than the VR1, and pulling up to the warm up shack with the baddest sled on the snow gives a person a good feeling as well! It can do everything a rider wants, which is great for those who ride from groomed trails to off trail meadows to ditches, lakes, rivers and logging roads. I feel a rider would be hard pressed to find a better snowmobile if you ride a bit of everything! To sum it up, I love the sled. And never felt a desire to take the VR1 650 I have instead, when I went on a ride.

Scary throttle hang
The sled has very poor fuel mapping and the throttle hangs at low speed causing the sled to continue even after letting off the throttle. It's the most dangerous sled I've ever owned. Not impressed. I wish Polaris would verify these sleds better before charging people so much for them.

Exceeded my expectations can go about anywhere
I have owned my 2019 850 SKS155 and loved it despite blowing a piston and walked crank bearing. This 650 has nearly the same power band and pull, just not as strong. Fuel economy is very good until I reach 1-3’ Powder, river and hard pack it compares with the Doo 600R. I’d love to have snowchecked the 650 Pro RMK but couldn’t justify owning 4 sleds at this time.
Goes where I turn it and want it to go. Best in the business.

Would be a 900 XCR
71 kms on my 850xc in kapuskasing in January when it blows up had to rent a skidoo to ride with me son that I bought the 850xc for so I let him ride my 22 850xcr . One month later we got the xc back from the dealer I still think someone should pay my rental snowmobile. That's why I didn't snow check one this year

Favorite trail sled yet
I’ve had a good variety of sleds, and up till now my favorite trail sled was a 2018 switchback assault. However, this new matrix switchback is hands down my new favorite for the trail. Love the cornering and zip of the 850. Comfortable enough to go rack up a couple hundred miles a day and do it again the next day.

No Turbo, yet I'm still "blown" away!
Coming off a Yamaha Sidewinder, I was expecting a lot less power when compared on a dyno sheet. Surprise! The power of the Patriot 850 N/A doesn't disappoint!! The throttle response is amazing. Something that was lacking down low on the 'Winder. This thing pops the skis up to the sky by merely thinking about it. The handling is out of this world! It will rail corners or carve fresh powder and have you feeling like a pro!! Topend was great as well. We have lots of trails in Northern Maine where you can stretch the legs on your sled. Easily shows me 3 digits in no time at all on the speedo. Speaking of speedometer, this is hands down the BEST gauge in the industry. Love everything about the dash on this sled. The only way I could be happier with this sled is if it came with a lifetime supply of gas and oil! Been riding Yamaha sleds since I was 12. Never thought I'd like a Polaris, yet here I am....

Bought this sled for my wife. I have the 850xc. I’ve rode hers on several occasions and if I knew what I know now I would have bought myself a 650 as well. Doesn’t matter who’s on my 850 they can’t lose me in the woods. The 650 is smooth power, front lifts on demand and runs cooler on hard pack. So far I’ve been nothing but impressed with this machine , it brings smile to me and the wife.

Worst sled ive ever owned
Had to sell the sled do to track ratcheting when riding in deeper snow. Tryed to tighten the track to the point it was over tighten, still did it even switch tracks.

Great Combination Sled
I was previously riding a 1995 Indy XLT and finally upgrade to something that could ride both on and off trail. This snowmobile has not let me down. It has been very agile and easily maneuverable off the trail...and with some easy shock adjustments has been great on the trail. The snowmobile is so comfortable and ergonomic I can ride all day and get back on the next day with no aches and pains.

Very nice machine
I really love my new 550 Indy adventure it’s just a perfect fit for me and my wife. The only thing that I don’t like is dealing with the dealer since I bought my machine from a dealer in Quebec and I live in Sault Ste. Marie, on I’m not looking forward to have to deal with them if ever I have an issue with my machine.

Excellent Value for a Novice Sled
This machine is perfect for young or new riders. I've always been a fan of the 550 fan-cooled motor (this is the 4th one I've owned), and love that they paired it with a 144" track. My 13 year old son loved the sled, and I've ordered a second one for next season.

Great Sleds
I bought two of the NorthStar Edition's to ride with my Brother in law, and Nephews. These sleds are everything I was looking for in a Snowmobile. They are smooth, and fast enough for the riding, mostly trails that we do. I currently own a Polaris General so I know the reputation. Glad I found these last September, as you can't find any in my area.

Great Sled!
I bought my 550 for a second sled to have when friends and family visit. Great economy, time tested engine and a comfortable two-up ride make this an outstanding sled. I ride in the New York Adirondacks and have had zero issues with getting to where I want to go.

We bought this sled for my wife. Love everything about it except the shocks. Realizing it's an entry level package the shocks definitely are not adequate for our riding style. We expected a little more out of them. We will be upgrading them over the summer. Other than that it's a great sled.

Best sled I've ever owned (or rode) !
I took delivery of my 600 Indy SP 137 in late Feb., was able to put 600 miles on before we ran out of snow. First impressions: what a joy on the trail (I ride in NE MN Taconite Trail area) corners like it's on rails, soaks up the bumps, plenty of power (why anyone needs more is beyond me). What makes it even better is how affordable it is.

Truly my dream sled
Very versatile sled - used as 2 up with young children. Never get stuck in deep snow with 137” track. I also love reverse as std. equip. Electric start never worked from day one but has pull start backup. Overall the best sled I have ever owned.

I have owned many snowmobiles in my lifetime including a 700 switchback. My new Indy 600 handles better than any other sled that I have owned. The ride is better, fuel and oil consumption is better. I would recommend this sled to anyone looking for a new one. By far the best all around sled that I have personally owned.

Good Sled but Terrible Availability of Parts
Bought two Indy SP 137 with the intention to add seating for a 2-up configuration for both. Seat bracket in back order since last October. Missed it nature season and rebates along the way. Very sad.

This is definitely the best introductory snowmobile in the market. Geared towards trail riding, this sled allows the rider to learn how to enjoy the sport without all of the hi-tech gimmicks, bells, and whistles. This sled is definitely for the occasional/beginner rider. Those who have extensive experience riding will enjoy this sled; however, they may find they can enjoy other models more.

I had a problem with my sled and both the manufacturer and dealer did t want to take responsibility and the repair never got resolved within the 1 year warranty. Sled only had 92 miles and wouldn’t start. Fuel Pump Issue

Truly an excellent sled for young riders
Great, great sled for younger riders. I moved them up from Yamaha 200's this past winter and what a blast it was. The sleds run and handle great and at no time felt the grandsons were beyond their ability. Polaris has done an outstanding job on being able to bring younger riders into the sport. They both wound up with about 1800 miles for the season mostly in northern Maine. Kudo's to you guys. Only 2 things I would change on the sleds, 1 being fuel injection and the second being an ice ripper track option. I have been a loyal Ski-doo owner since 1972 and am seriously considering buying Polaris for my next sled.

THIS SLED IS PERFECT FOR MY 12 YEAR OLD SON! IT FITS HIM JUST RIGHT. IN MY OPINION THE EVO IS THE RIGHT SIZED SLED FOR 10-15 YEARS OF AGE OR ANYONE THAT MAY BE INTIMIDATED BY THE BIGGER SLEDS. I AM 300 LBS AND TOOK THE EVO FOR A SPIN DOWN THE TRAIL WITH NO ISSUES. THE SUSPENSION AND STEERING IS SET UP BETTER FOR 80-120 LB RIDER. ALTHOUGH WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY ISSUES THE ONLY THING THAT I WOULD CHANGE WOULD BE TO ADD FUEL INJECTION RATHER THAN A CARBURETOR.

My wife and I bought the kids one 2 winters ago. They love it! They've been really good about taking turns but it would be nice if they each had one. I even take it around the loop from time to time! 6'2" 205. Haven't had one issue. Put a bit of Stabil in the tank after each winter and starts first pull the next season. Can't say much about handling and gitty-up. I'm sure it doesn't operate for me the same as the kids.5&6

Fun and a work horse

I think this sled is the perfect mix of power and track , The power from the 800 turns the big track effort less and keeps the front end feeling light is the deepest snow . It’s an abosloute beast/work hoses with a great ride to match !
I’m highly disappointed Polaris deleted the 800 with out replacing it with the 850 in the Titian line up . 2 thumbs down for that !

This is my fifth Titan . And I couldn’t be happier . The only upgrade it would need is the 850 Patriot motor . The 850 is smoother and quite a bit better on fuel .
I can truly say that I am disappointed in Polaris’s decision to only offer it in a four stroke platform for 2024 . You will lose a lot of follower's due to this decision . Putting the 850 and a four stroke would be a wise decision in my opinion. This year I will ride an 850 Assault as I’m not sold on the performance of the 4 stroke Titan . Sad day for me when the announcement came out . Truly a Polaris sled fan , Rick, Ontario Canada

Good utility sled
Great sled for what I use it for. I mostly use this sled to pull my Otter ice fishing sleigh and some limited trail riding. Plenty of storage and room for 2 riders is nice. Don’t expect to win any races I’m used to riding an 800 or 850 and the S4 is lacking in power but adequate.
Real good on fuel and nice to not need expensive 2 Stroke oil.

Although we had a mediocre winter in terms of snow; I had a GREAT winter snowmobiling on my Voyageur. It is great all around machine that does well following my sons around while they explore our property on their 120cc Polaris but it was also a pleasure on a 200+ mile ride in Northern Maine. I am very happy with this purchase and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Have added things such as a Polaris dash bag and a Polaris deluxe two up seat. Somewhat disappointed in the seat as although it was to be a bolt on I had to modify the rack. For the money and the fact it was a Polaris specific product I would have been better off going aftermarket as I had done with my previous sled.

Sled handles great and is a good machine for using to get firewood and also a nice trail riding machine

Fun, versatile, does it all
Love the overall utility of this sled while still maintaining the agility to do everything well… from on trail to off trail - it performs and is fun to drive. I liked it so much I ordered another one this year.
